Caiger & Co. Catering was founded in 2012 by Alix Caiger, who grew up in a family where hosting was the central act of community. Her grandparents cooked from their garden and gathered people generously. Her father's work as a tropical horticulturalist brought ingredients, spices and flavours from across the world to the table. Food was never incidental. It was the point.
That upbringing shaped a company built on the belief that a well-fed room is a different kind of room. We design menus around people, places and seasons, not around what is easiest or most familiar. The result is catering that sits inside an event rather than alongside it.

01 Provenance
British-first sourcing, quarterly supplier reviews, and a low-waste kitchen that uses everything it brings in. Our menus are built on relationships with producers we trust, not ingredients we can access cheaply.
02 People
A permanent team of 21, scaling with long-standing freelancers who know our standards. London Living Wage employer. Over 90 hours a year volunteering in community kitchens.
03 Sustainability
We track what we do and report it honestly. Compostable alternatives, 100% electric delivery, eight supplier swaps in 2025 alone, and an active Mossy Earth rewilding membership.
